That North Star is beautiful, Kathy! I love blues/white/silver for Christmas/winter quilts.

The pattern I wanted to use isn't in English and the way they constructed the Cardinal it comes out a bit too small. So, I've redesigned it. I have the fabric cut for a sample block and depending on what we do today, I may get it sewn up.

Minnesota Update!
Got a good start on my swap blocks yesterday, but I tried a different option for stitching---used a satin stitch instead of blanket stitch, and I don't like it... so just in case, I traced out 3 more blocks and will have them for back up! No place I have to go today, so that's the plan! ----

Lyn, did you get it figured out?
Lori, I'll let you know when they arrive.
Maryq, I do that sometimes too.
I've only slept 4 hours so I'm still groggy. I do know Valerie's blocks arrived but I haven't opened mail yet, I'll get to that in a little bit, I'm fading fast this morning but the party was great! Those kids danced and danced! They all looked like they had a great time ❤
I'm not working on mine today, as tired as I am I'm sure there would be big goofs.
