Those are cute Chriss. Did your Grandma also love Butterflies?

Valerie, the town I was born in and the county my family is from is called Mariposa. It means butterfly. My grandma loved butterflies and always wore a butterfly pin on her dress. People would give her these pins for Christmas and her birthday. Here the most common butterfly is the Monarch. Grandma was also the secretary to the first superintendent of Yosemite. So butterflies and Yosemite were important to her.

When my dad and step mom went on a hike in Yosemite they were "followed" by a Monarch Butterfly. Dad said it flitted around them as they walked. That is how they knew Grandma was thinking about them. I have also had butterfly experiences. Butterflies are a smile maker for me, a real heart warmer. Makes the butterfly on the pin cushion that my Santa made perfect for me.

And yes, isn't that the cutest little bag my Santa made for me? It will hold quite a bit depending on what I put in it. Long enough for a rotary cutter or a comb or I could make it into a first aid kit for the car.

Val, the bag is 7x8 and opens to a perfect 2 inches wide. Its a goldilocks bag, just right.
