Last Week Sew Along
Hi Girls
Can you believe... here it is week 16 of the Sew Along... Man those weeks went by fast! Seem like we just started. I know not many have been able to follow along... and that's okay. It's been fun putting this together with Katy!
The last block is "Comfort Block" and it is from El's Victory Quilts book! If you don't have the book. let me know... It's a pretty easy block.
Here's Mine
and here is Katy's
As soon as I can find my way into my sewing room... I'll be putting mine together. The big decision will be... sashing or not?
If any of you complete yours... be sure to share a photo!

I have been watching and I hope it's Ok, I've made a file of the Sew Along. I bought fabric in Indiana, at Yoder's, for this project. Hopefully I will get to work on it soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilts!

Here is my block.
Here are all 16... I am not planning to assemble until after we get into our new place, so I thought I would share my picture. I will be pondering how I want to arrange them, and how I will sash or block together.

Velda. That's AWESOME... I'll have to lay mine out like that and photo as well...
It's been fun to see how different colors really change the look!

I layed them out onto our off white sheets. I think I might want to add another color for sashing. Or maybe use the royal blue and light blue somehow since I didn't use those two colors very much throughout the 16 weeks.
Taking my time to ponder this.

Beautiful Amazing blocks!!!! Love them all
New place??? What did I miss.
If it were mine I would try the darks on the outsides and the light in the middle. Would love seeing what it looks like.
I have NO Doubts it will be Splendid when you are finished.
Happy moving and Stitching !!!

Finally got all my blocks laid out together!
It's been fun to see how different fabrics really change the look of a quilt!
Am debating on sashing as well,... to use one of colors or the background fabric... thinking that might soften the look a little... Once I'm all done... I'll share the finished quilt too!

Looks so pretty! As colorful as a box of crayons. Even black would frame your blocks like a stained glass window.
