Here's another attempt at a poem. It's fun to try, but I am not so clever. You pals are much better at this, but it's still fun :

September means it's almost fall.
The end of summer for us all.
Teresa picked pretty colors and flowers.
I think I could sew these for hours.
Now who wants to win?
Better get sewing and get some tickets in the bin!
There's still lots of chances.

Oh, that is perfect. Thanks for sending. I was just worried that I wasn’t looking in the right place. No worries, life happens. I’m sending good wishes her way!!!! She has been very responsive . I’m surprised more people didn’t sign up for this one. It is such an easy block.

Mine were mailed on 9/8, but tracking said they should arrived by Monday 9/13.
Seems like Post Office is very slow.

Velda - You simply AMAZE me with your talent of poem writing. I write FABulous ones in my sleep and then I wake up and poof! they are gone. Will try harder Thank you for sending MaryGo my address. I knew I started the PM but when I looked it was still there. I had forgotten to send it - AH!!!

Kathy, Velda and MaryGo - THank you for the updates on your mailing. Sure hope you remembered to add your name label to them and send money for mailing to winners. I would LOVE to be rich so I could handle that but postage has gone up again and money needs to stretch. I have no doubts you understand.

It is 1:21am here and I am spent. Very long day but I definitely wanted to catch up here before I crash. My legs and ankles are HUGE which meant I should have taken another pill and gone to bed early BUT

Valerie came to visit last weekend and we had a grand time sewing, chatting, celebrating Rob's birthday and an all around great time!!!! I worked on my Halloween block and Val made 8 Lotto Blocks, 2 of each color.
Thank you Val for joining us this month and coming to visit. I had a FABulous time!!!
