A couple hick ups but I finally got my sample made. Please be honest, if it's not Ok or I should make something else.

Good Morning Fellow Christmas Swappers

Here's my Update for this week! I'M DONE!! Finished stitching them all down yesterday! Just have to do a thorough check, and clips all the little threads etc. I made a couple extra so I could be sure to send the best ones! One I tried a satin stitch on and it didn't turn out as well as I hoped, so I'll keep that one for my orphan block box! I mean, who doesn't have an orphan block box (say that 3 times fast, I dare you!)

Hoping to get them in the mail next week... will alert you when you they are on the way.

I did learn a valuable lesson tho... my July Lotto blocks were late arriving to Valerie and I wasn't sure I'd kept the tracking number, lo and behold, it was in my back, in a pile of stuff in the back seat. So from now on, I will carefully keep those things in a safe place! Lesson learned!!!

My photo doesn't show it well, but there's a wing on that bird in a different red. I think I bought a red with some gold print. I will try a sample with that.

Lyn, I love your cardinal. I love birds and it's going to be so fun in this Christmas quilt!

Congrats MaryQ on getting your blocks done. I'm almost there myself. I hope to finish in the next few days.

LYN, love your cardinal. He's a beauty!

MARY Q, congrats on finishing your blocks! And yes, I have an orphan block box and now you have me trying to say it three times fast! I cleaned it out last year and made 6 very odd, mixed/matched/not matched quilts. But I've got a good start now on another one.

BEV - great progress! And I hope you had a happy birthday!

Hi everyone!
Beverly, I'm hoping to get mine finished this next week too.
I kinda got side tracked by sorting through some patterns that I printed but should have that done today and get back to my Christmas blocks.
How's everyone else doing?
Tina
