Here's my blocks
I made 5 , but I'm not sure I'm liking the one with the fussy cut corners, so might make at least one to replace it and then one more to send an even six!

Yes, I think they are apples and grapes.. I'm not crazy about those blocks, so if they don't like what you are going for.... I will NOT be offended and you ask me to keep! I made a couple more anyway!!

Re: September Lotto!
Val, I shipped 6 blocks off to you. Should be arriving in a few days.
I learned something about postage. I don't use Priority for lotto blocks but manila envelopes. Our post office informed us that it's cheaper to use the larger envelope rather than folding all the blocks up so they fit into a 5x7 envelope. It's more the thickness rather than the area of the envelope. It cost me $2.something to mail 6 blocks as opposed to $5.80 I spent last month to mail 4 blocks. Maybe y'all knew this already, but I didn't. This has been a Public Service Announcement.

Mary, mine was the opposite when I mailed this month. I guess it depends on who's at the counter.

Re: September Lotto!
Thanks Mary, like Lori I think it matters who weighs and measures your mail.
One postal clerk stuck my envelope through a slot to see if it was too thick. If it goes through the slot she has easily then it's ok. Another told me that if I was sending printed material rather than whatever else it's cheaper. I do send using a manilla envelope almost always and don't bother with tracking, and it does cost less most of the time. I just wish they had a plan and stuck with it.

We almost always mail from the self-serve kiosk in the P.O. lobby rather than the counter. Maybe that's why our mail is cheaper. And yes, if you mail "media" or "book" rate it's WAAAY cheaper! But you have to mark your package, take that to the counter, and tell the clerk. But the package can only contain books or printed material. You aren't supposed to sneak in things like - say - quilt blocks.
