Val, glad they made it!

We were mentioning slow sewing machines? I panicked a few times when mine wouldn't sew. I was ready to call the 'spa people' when I realized I had my chair up against my knee lift just enough to stop the machine. Another time I didn't notice that I had bumped my bobbin winder on top of the machine and it was spinning. Machine won't sew if that's running. I learned to sew at age 10 when my mom took my 9 yr old sister and me to a formal 6 week sewing class at the Singer shop. And STILL, 62 years later, I do such silly things they probably should suspend my sewing license!

Someone, I have no clue who, sent me the Lori Holt Christmas book. In it are, among many other things, flying geese. This is the first time I haven't used either half square triangles or El's rulers to make geese.

I'm trying to come up with blocks no one else is doing and not using the same fabric or block twice.

I think it's okay to duplicate a block as the fabrics will be different. I am going to try a Yankee puzzle today.

ooohhhh, a Yankee Puzzle. fun. Not sure what my next block will be yet. I found one I like it's called spin me round. by mod kid botique, but it's not 12 1/2 inches. I'll keep looking.

Is it a block you can add a border?

Just an FYI

My blocks are on the way too! If I knew what I did with my receipt from the PO I could tell you when to expect them!

Chriss.. Must be ESP... I printed out that Spin Me Around pattern too. I was thinking--wouldn't it work with a jelly roll if you started with a 2.5" square in the center?

Anytime you ladies try that "Spin Me Around" let me know. Have wanted to try it but just not sure. You know those bias edges!

I will start watching 👀 for those blocks Mary around Tuesday
