Valerie, I won't use the whole jelly roll here. I may use the rest for a quilt for myself.
For the record, I wasn't planning on trying to wash the jelly roll. When y'all post rules for swaps and such, it usually says Pre Wash fabric.

Yes we do say that Lyn. But generally with precuts, as Tina says, do not wash. I have heard of people washing by hand but who has time for that.

Should the 5" square for the middle be one of the fabrics in the dresden plate? I got mine done, my DSIL will post the picture for me. KathyR

Kathy yes if you have more fabric of one in the plate, if not, just make sure it matches

Kathy, I love your greens! Very pretty. You have a great eye for color!
I did make another “plate” today.
And by the way, on pre-washing. I never wash small pre-cuts. Unless it’s a red that looks like it might fade and then I just hand wash it. But I do pre-wash yardage. I’m not sure it matters with good quality modern fabrics, but that’s my choice.
I am loving all the plates y’all are making. This is going to be a gorgeous quilt for somebody.

Wow, I am so happy to see such wonderful blocks. DH is using my regular machine to recover the boat seats. Guess I will pull out my smaller machine and work on some more.
I have to say I was hesitant about this block but so glad I went with it. These could turn into 2 quilts maybe?
