Re: June Lotto
Mary, if you have a tracking number, contact the post office and let them know the package was not delivered to the address posted.
Val, our mail gets delivered to one street over that has the same#. I guess whoever set up the numbering didn't think that would be a problem, but it is.

LORI - I have contacted UPS, where we mailed it USPS as per instructions on my receipt. Waiting for a reply.

Re: June Lotto
Mary are you saying you mailed it from a UPS office and not the post office? My grandkids Dad did that when he sent me a check and guess what, I never got it. It was actually a cashiers check, had to wait 90 days to make sure it didn't clear before they would reissue.
Lori I may drive over to what the street behind me would be and check the numbers.

Re: June Lotto
Val, yes, we have a PMB at the UPS store which is where we get our mail. That is the #177 in our address. (which, btw, we just received notice that from July 1 they will return anything that doesn't have the box # on it - UPS policy.) I never mail things FROM there because they add about 30% "service charge" to the postage. But my sweet hubby volunteered to mail my blocks and he was picking up our mail and didn't want to drive downtown to the post office and stand in line to save $2 so he mailed it from UPS. So now neither entity is up for tracking down a $7 item. I bet it slipped down somewhere in your mail carrier's vehicle or it landed at one of your neighbor's. It might show up someday. I feel badly for Kathy.
P.S. While I doubt it's UPS's fault because it did make it into the hands of the USPS, I won't be mailing anything from UPS again.

Well hopefully they will show up.
When I buy coffee on a website, it ships UPS then transfers to USPS.
They've lost my packages a couple times in the transfer. Something about the transfer is difficult.

I am going to mail the blocks to Kathy tomorrow. I have searched and searched my house and can't locate the blocks.

Re: June Lotto
I mailed the manila envelop at the UPS store but it went USPS. I've talked with both USPS and the UPS store where we mailed from. The address it was mailed to is different from Val's. It could have been me that mis-addressed the manilla envelope or it could have been the girl at the UPS store who generated the mailing label - but it went to the wrong address and I'm hoping they will "return to sender", which can take a few weeks. So perhaps one day it will show up back in my mail box. But lesson learned - whether it was my error or the clerk at the UPS store, I won't be trying to save time by mailing from there ever again. I'm sorry, Kathy.

Mary, your time saving effort didn't quite work out so well. Hopefully they will show up.
